David John Harris was born on October 11, 1939.

From running a record store, setting up Sutton's Removals to moving to Portugal and running a restaurant and bar, David had a full and always fun life, kept busy by his Wife of 56 years Doreen Alice Harris, his three boys Colin, Jef and Jason and spouses.

David was known for his wicked, dry sense of humour, even in the very last moments of his life. David was lovingly known as "Bomber Harris" from one of his favourite movies The Dam Dusters, and Captain for his often " disastrous " love of boats. 

David passed peacefully the evening of Wednesday 17th February 2016. David had Parkinson's for 16 long years, but never once moaned or complained about the condition and just soldiered on with a smile despite all the many frustrations it caused.

He will also be loved and will always be remembered.

Any donation will go a long way to understanding Parkinson's further and to ease the life of the many people it touches.
